As part of its Days of Play event, Sony is discounting everything from PS5 consoles and games, to PlayStation Plus subscriptions and accessories.
Retailers such as Amazon, Very and Argos are also getting in on the act, slashing prices for a variety of popular PlayStation items. One game that’s proving especially popular at Argos is The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, which is available for just £21.99.
It’s described by Argos as “our lowest price ever”, and has already been snapped up hundreds of times in the past 24 hours.
Needless to say, you might want to hurry and purchase the game before it potentially sells out.
With season 2 of The Last of Us TV show coming to an end, the timing of the discount couldn’t be better.
It’s worth pointing out that Argos is also selling the PS5 Pro for the reduced price of £654.99, and the PS5 Slim for £389.99.
Official PS5 DualSense controllers are reduced to £49.99, which is a saving of £15.
Then there are additional PS5 game discounts, such as EA Sports FC 25 for £21.99, Silent Hill 2 for £29.99 and Gran Turismo 7 for £29.99.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is arguably the biggest and best discount available as part of the Days of Play event.
The game comes with the core campaign, as well as the No Return roguelike survival mode, three lost levels cut from the original, and a dedicated Guitar mode.
It also features a host of PS5 enhancements, including support for 4K resolution of Fidelity Mode, as well as speedier loading times and DualSense support.
As an added bonus, the Remastered version contains a couple of bonus skins for both Ellie and Abby.
