Middlesbrough’s 2025/2026 Championship fixture list in full

It’s the same opening day fixture as last season for Boro, who then face successive away trips to Millwall and Norwich City.

A home game against Sheffield United rounds off August and is the final fixture before the first international break of the season.

Boro’s final game of the season is away at Championship newcomers Wrexham on Saturday, May 2. That follows home games against Sheffield Wednesday and Watford, one of Edwards’ former clubs.

Boro face a long trip to Ashton Gate to play Bristol City five days before Christmas but are then at home to Blackburn on Boxing Day and Hull City on December 29. They’re away at Derby County on New Year’s Day.
