Newcastle are looking to strengthen their squad with four new signings as they plan for their return to the Champions League.
The transfer window opens tomorrow with an initial period of trading running until Tuesday, June 10 due to the expanded 2025 Club World Cup.
The window will then open again on Monday, June 16 and run through to Monday, September 1.

After the frustration of being forced to sit on their hands in recent windows, Newcastle are in a position where they can spend and the Magpies have four key priorities this summer.
Strengthening at centre-half remains a must for Eddie Howe and Marc Guehi remains the top target. Newcastle had to accept defeat last summer after a final offer of around £65m was rejected.
But Guehi is now preparing to enter the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park and Newcastle hope to be able to use any uncertainty to their advantage.
Bolstering on the right side of the attack is another priority for Newcastle. While Jacob Murphy has enjoyed a career best campaign on the right, it’s still seen as an area where Newcastle lack competition for places. Both Harvey Barnes and Anthony Gordon are nowhere near as effective on the right as they are the left.
Bryan Mbeumo is a leading target but Brentford boss Thomas Frank this week said it would cost “a lot” to tempt the Bees into doing business.
Newcastle need competition and cover for Alexander Isak, though that will likely be challenging, with any targets inevitably aware of how difficult it will be to force their way into the side. Liam Delap was a target but is Chelsea-bound.
Newcastle will also revisit their pursuit of a goalkeeper.
James Trafford is a long-term target but Burnley’s asking price will now be sky high after their promotion and the keeper’s exceptional season in the Championship.
Reports in the Spanish media this week claimed Newcastle have held talks with Espanyol over Joan Garcia.
Caoimhin Kelleher is another goalkeeper Newcastle have scouted, though the Liverpool deputy is in demand this summer and of interest to West Ham, Leeds and Brentford, who look set to have to replace Mark Flekken.

OUTS
Alexander Isak continues to be linked with just about everyone but Newcastle were never going to be in a position where they’d be forced to cash in this summer and their qualification for the Champions League further strengthened their hand.
Anthony Gordon’s situation is slightly more intriguing, with Liverpool and Arsenal still said to be keen on the winger, who had something of an underwhelming season on Tyneside. But it would take a mega offer totempt the Magpies into cashing in.
Fringe figures will likely move on, including Sean Longstaff, who lost his place in the side this season.
CONTRACTS
Callum Wilson looked to be saying goodbye after last weekend’s final day defeat to Everton but the striker’s future remains uncertain.
Wilson is said to have been offered an incentivised deal to stay at Newcastle, but Leeds United have also been strongly linked.
Wilson admitted on the High Performance Podcast this week that he’s found it difficult playing second fiddle to Isak.
He said: “Every game there is not even a contest on who starts at the moment, and rightly so. In my absence over the last 18 months, Alex has just gone to another level which is fantastic for the team. It’s helped us improve so much.
“Then obviously my role changes and you have to put your pride and ego to the side, put the team first and know what the team needs in that moment. If I can’t be a big part on the pitch, what can you do off it? How can you help other players? How can you still be you without acting and being disappointed?
“It’s difficult, but I think I’m getting the balance right. I’ve gone through dips and all sorts of emotions, especially being out of contract in the summer.
“There’s a lot of emotions throughout this season that have been different challenges to face and new challenges that I’ve never faced before.”
