JD Gyms to open new gym in Lifestyle Fitness Middlesbrough

The new site, located at Newport South Business Park in Middlesbrough, will feature equipment, including plate-loaded machines, a sprint and sled track, a lifting zone, and an Eleiko-branded functional area.

JD Gyms newest site Stockton North (Image: JD GYMS) The gym group currently has gyms across the region with sites in Darlington, Stockton North, Stockton South, Hartlepool, Washington, Sunderland, North Shields, Newcastle and Shiremoor.

The redevelopment will include a dedicated glute training section and over 20 benches in a large free weights zone, with dumbbells reaching up to 50kg.

Cardio enthusiasts will have access to a selection of equipment, from treadmills and rowers to stair mills, all housed within a modern, purpose-built gym environment.

The new gym will operate on a no-contract membership model, with a pre-opening offer currently available. A limited number of 200 discounted memberships are on offer, starting at £5 for the first month and £26.99 per month thereafter, with no joining fee.

The opening date for the new JD Gyms facility has not yet been confirmed.
