The current English and Scottish League Cup holders will face off for the first ever adidas Trophy on Saturday, July 19, 3pm kick-off.
The Magpies have been allocated 7,200 tickets for the game, which will go on sale online at 2pm on Tuesday.
Boss Eddie Howe said: “Travelling to Glasgow to face Celtic is a great opportunity to test ourselves as we gear up for Premier League and European football next season.
“We’ll face a top team at an historic ground, with a big away crowd there to support us.”

The game comes before Newcastle head for Asia to take part in the Singapore Festival of Football, where they’ll face Arsenal on Sunday, July 27.
Newcastle’s last pre-season trip to Celtic was in 2004 when Bobby Robson was in charge. The two sides met in Alan Shearer’s testimonial on Tyneside in 2006 and played again at St James’ Park the following year.
