The event, which is being held on the Town Moor, is expected to see upwards of 150,000 fans cheer on the first Newcastle team to win a domestic trophy in 70 years as they lift the cup for the first time on Tyneside.
After a bus parade through the city, a whole timetable of events is planned for the Town Moor, where the trophy lift will happen.
As part of those celebrations, a stage has been erected to accommodate the players as they lift the Carabao Cup, as well as a special ‘surprise’ from club sponsors Sela.
(Image: Jack Wallace) The club is believed to have contacted Geordie rock and roll star Sam Fender if he could come and perform, but it is unconfirmed if his schedule would allow this to happen.

There are towers for speakers and lighting, and a big marquee-type roof over the stage itself – presumably to avoid a soaking wet trophy lift if the weather forecast brings rain as it might be expected to.
