The Moors are facing Aldershot in the final of the FA Trophy tomorrow (Sunday, May 11) afternoon at Wembley.
Setting off on the 250-mile trip from The Brewery Field to North West London, Graeme Lee’s side were applauded onto their team coach by fans.
The coach, clad in Spennymoor’s badge and ‘Pride of County Durham’ slogan, left at 9.30am on its four-and-a-half hour journey
(Image: DANIEL HORDON) Behind it, many supporters were making the same journey, with more than 3,800 tickets were sold for the big game.

It will be a big test for Lee’s part-time side against professional Aldershot Town, from a division above, in their first visit to the national stadium since 2013 where they triumphed in the FA Vase. If successful, they will be only the second club to win both trophies.
Last month the Moors secured their place at Wembley winning 5-4 on penalties against Rochdale after play ended in a 2-2 draw.
The game will also be shown live on TNT Sports 4 and Discovery Plus.
