Stockton-born Jack Fowler finished all four of his races in this year’s event, overcoming delays, mechanical issues, and tough weather conditions.
He said his efforts were made possible with the support of Yarm-based sponsor Logic-i Group.Jack Fowler on the Kawasaki Z650 (Image: Supplied)
Mr Fowler said: “After great weather in the run-up, we were hit by major disruptions across race week.
“Delays take a toll, and as a small family team with a handful of supporters, it’s a constant battle to stay race ready.

Racing on the ‘notoriously demanding’ 37.73-mile Mountain Course, Mr Fowler’s best result came in the final Supertwin race, where he finished 20th on a Kawasaki Z650.
He also placed 34th and 32nd in the two Supersport races on a Triumph 765, and 26th in the other Supertwin contest.

Just before the start of Supertwin Race One, the zip on Mr Fowler’s leathers failed.
He had to sprint back to the paddock to change into his spare suit, missing his grid slot but was permitted to start from the back.

A travelling marshal inspected the machine and cleared him to continue, and his lost time was recredited.
Mr Fowler said: “It was a crazy 90 minutes, which upset my rhythm, but we still managed to secure a bronze replica.”
Mechanical issues also plagued practice week, with a head gasket failure on his Triumph reducing valuable track time.
Both the Triumph and the Kawasaki, which had been leaking oil, were rebuilt in time for race week, leaving no rest days across the fortnight.
Mr Fowler, whose father Neil was a competitive racer in the 1980s, credited his sponsors for making the campaign possible.
He said: “I’m massively grateful to all my supporters, especially Logic-i Group.
“Its sponsorship didn’t just help me get to the TT – it helped me stay there and keep pushing.”
Stephen Priestley, director at Logic-i, said: “Jack’s campaign this year shows what true determination looks like.
“Despite everything thrown at him – weather, mechanical issues, sheer exhaustion – he brought home four finishes and made Teesside proud.

“We backed Jack because we saw someone with drive and heart, and he’s proved us right again.”
Now back home, Mr Fowler is taking time to reflect on a demanding but rewarding campaign.
He said: “I didn’t break lap records this year, but I did improve and that’s a win in itself.”
