Microsoft has revealed the next batch of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass at the end of August and beginning of September. Xbox Game Pass has already added multiple titles in August, including Beast of Reincarnation, Grounded 2, the excellent Ball x Pit and Heretic + Hexen. The next wave of games includes a selection of brand new day-one releases, including the third game in a beloved series.
It all begins today (August 18) with the release of Egging On, which is a hard-as-nails physics platformer where you control an egg. Needless to say, you’ll need to be extra careful if you want to make it through a farm shop, factory and other environments full of obstacles.
The new releases continue on August 19, when BlazBlue Entropy Effect X and Relooted join the service alongside the day-one release of Vapor World: Over the Mind.
Vapor World: Over the Mind is described as a souls-like platformer. It kind of looks like a 2D version of Lies of P, which certainly makes me want to give it a go.
“Lost in darkness, a boy drawn into a twisted dream, no way out,” reads the official description. “Vapor World: Over The Mind is a narrative-driven souls-like platformer focused on deflection combat. Descend into a shattered mind seeking lost memories. Face the dark, beautiful world born of sorrow and regret.”
Next up is Starsand Island on August 20, followed by Aerial_Knight’s DropShot and Blood Dungeon on August 25.
One of the biggest new releases of the month joins the service on August 27, as Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy comes to Game Pass as a day-one release.
The game transports players to Minotaur’s Island, where they’ll face deadly trials, solve puzzles and battle enemies.
Finally, Young Suns is coming to Xbox Game Pass on August 31, followed by Shelldiver on September 1.
