Iling-Junior is set to play as one of Boro’s wide-attacking midfielders, which will mean Finn Azaz moving infield to fill the ‘number ten’ role.
Kelechi Iheanacho drops out of the side that started last weekend’s draw with Norwich City, and is on the substitutes’ bench, where he is joined by fit-again central defender Rav van den Berg.
Riley McGree returned to training this week, but the Australian has not been named in Boro’s matchday squad.
