The Black Cats continue to make waves in the summer transfer window, with highly-rated and in-demand winger Talbi signing a five-year contract after a £19m move was agreed with Club Brugges.
And, as first reported by Sky Sports, Sunderland are also set to finalise the signing of Adingra in the next 24 hours after agreeing a deal with Brighton that will see the Wearsiders pay £18m up-front for the 23-year-old, plus £2.5m in potential add-ons.
Sunderland made an effort to sign the Ivory Coast international in January when the Seagulls swooped for Tommy Watson, but the deals fell through.
But Sunderland’s interest in the winger remained active and they made a fresh move at the start of this week. Adingra, who has played 60 times for Brighton in the Premier League, will be another exciting attacking addition, further bolstering Regis Le Bris’ options on the flank after the arrival of Talbi, which thrilled club officials.
