As football fans twiddle their thumbs in the period between the World Cup and the start of the new football season, the franchise formerly known as FIFA has confirmed a release date for its next instalment. Pre-orders are now open for EA Sports FC 27 ahead of its September 25 launch, and some shoppers can knock more than £20 off if they act fast.
At GAME, FIFA fans can currently save £5 on pre-orders for both the PS5 and Xbox versions. However, it can be secured for less than £50 by shopping through TopCashback and placing orders before 11.59pm on Sunday (August 2).

Billed as a social football playground where the streets meet the stadium, this broadens the ‘Clubs’ offering, enabling players to connect, compete and recruit fresh members while taking part in various football formats. This encompasses distinctive two-on-two contests and Clubs-exclusive 11-a-side stadium competitions.
‘Manager Career’ and ‘Football Ultimate Team’ also make a comeback, alongside gameplay enhancements including refined spatial awareness, off-balance dribbling and revamped set pieces. The title boasts an extensive selection of teams and players from across the globe, featuring more than 800 clubs and national sides from the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, La Liga, Bundesliga and beyond.
