We may not have a solid release date for FromSoftware’s Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods, but we do at least know when we’ll be able to go hands-on with the hugely anticipated new action-adventure. Nintendo recently announced dates and times for the upcoming Duskbloods trial, confirming that FromSoftware will put the servers to the test in August.
Unfortunately, however, next month’s network test isn’t available to all players, but will instead be open to a chosen few. Indeed, if you want to play the game ahead of launch, then you’ll need to sign up to take part in the network test, and hope you get picked by the development team. The good news is that sign-ups are now open, so you better act fast if you want to be considered.
How to sign up to the Closed Network Test
To sign up for The Duskbloods Network Test you’ll need to visit the game’s website, select your region and register interest.
Simply scroll down to the ‘Apply’ section and then fill out the required information before the sign-up period comes to an end.
The application period begins at 3pm BST UK time on July 22, and runs until 2.59pm BST on July 28. That’s just under a week to make sure you’re in the pot for a place in the draw.
Successful applicants will be notified at 2pm BST UK time on the afternoon of August 7, so make sure you check your emails.
You’ll need a Nintendo account in order to be considered, and will be required to redeem a download code ahead of the event.
Likewise, you need to be 17 or over, and agree to report any issues and fill out a survey.
It’s also worth pointing out that participants will be selected on a first come, first-served basis, so sign up now to avoid disappointment.
