Now Coral bookmakers’ John Hill reports that in the latest 24 hours, Barton’s odds to be the next Bond have been slashed by 88% from 50-1 to 6-1. As it stands, he only has Lowden (6-4) and Turner (2-1) ahead of him in the odds. Others in the race, that should be taken with a grain of salt, are Henry Cavill (6-1), Jack O’Connell (10-1), Josh O’Connor (10-1), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (12-1), Harris Dickinson (12-1), Jacob Elordi (14-1).
