Xbox has announced which games are coming to Game Pass later this month, and there are some big hitters that subscribers won’t want to miss.
From older Call of Duty titles to a survival game based on one of PC’s most beloved MMOs, there’s a lot to look forward to on Xbox this September. Here are all of those games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month and when you can download them.
Xbox Game Pass games for September 2026
- Shelldiver – September 1
- Speedrunners 2: King od Speed – September 3
- Dice a Million – September 1
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War – September 8
- The Royal Writ – September 10
- Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage – September 10
- RuneScape: Dragonwilds – September 15
So far, Xbox has confirmed six titles coming to Game Pass in September 2026. As listed above, they include a wide range of games including 2020’s Call of Duty release as well as the latest survival game based on the MMO RuneScape.
Each of these titles will be rolled out across the first half of the month with some of them already available to download right now.
More Xbox Game Pass titles will be announced for the second half of the month at a later date.
Games leaving Xbox Game Pass this month
Sadly, new additions to Game Pass also means that several games are leaving the service. If you were hoping to check out these games, players have until September 15 to give them a go:
- Commandos: Origins (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Cricket 24 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Cyberpunk 2077 (Cloud and Console)
- Dead Cells (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Deep Rock Galactic Survivor (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Frostpunk 2 (PC)
- Mullet Madjack (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Spiritfarer (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Superliminal (Cloud, Console, and PC)
- Train Sim World 5 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Cyberpunk and Frostpunk 2 seem to be the biggest losses for players here. While I doubt most players will be able to squeeze a full playthrough of CD Projekt RED’s massive sci-fi RPG, you’ve got 12 days to give it a good go if you’ve yet to try it on Xbox Game Pass.
