Bon Jovi’s 2026 Forever Tour has been a longtime coming after Jon Bon Jovi’s vocal cord recovery. The 64-year-old singer’s voice was atrophying four years ago, meaning a gap was preventing his cords from closing together to hold a tune. After undergoing major laryngeal framework surgery to insert an implant to push his vocals cords together, Jon underwent extensive rehabilitation ahead of the band’s 2024 album Forever. Two years on, Bon Jovi are back on tour, having opened at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and now the band are in London for three nights at Wembley Stadium.
The first took place last night, where tens of thousands of British Bon Jovi fans were packed in to witness the band’s big return. Kicking off with Beatles cover With a Little Help From My Friends, the group rocked through a 22 song set including favourites You Give Love a Bad Name featuring early on ahead of It’s My Life and Livin’ on a Prayer back-to-back. The latter was unsurprisingly the highlight of the night for fans, who jumped to their feet for generous repeats of the iconic chorus.
