Leaving a video message for D23, Kylo Ren star Adam Driver said: “Kevin [Feige] and I have been talking for years about me joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe and I think we finally found the perfect film and the perfect time with characters I care very deeply about. So I’m very excited to be playing the role of Magneto!… Wrong again. Right, even better, Nathaniel Milbury.”
Nathaniel Milbury aka Nathaniel Essex is the real name of Mr Sinister, an X-Men supervillain. In the comics, he’s a 19th century biologist who is obsessed with humanity becoming a perfect race of superhumans. Fellow villain Apocalypse uses Celestial technology to make him immortal with superpowers. He’s particularly interested in Cyclops and Jean Grey as he believes their DNA can create the ultimate mutant.
