Subnautica 2 developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment has released a new update for the early access survival adventure. The underwater action game has been available in early access for little under two weeks, but has already received a couple of important patches, with more promised for the future.

As you can see from the patch notes further down the page, the new Subnautica 2 Steam update makes some crucial changes to the game, including a big tweak to the early map area. Fans will be extremely pleased to discover that Silver is now more readily available in the early region.

Silver is a crucial element needed for crafting, but is kind of hard to come by early on, especially if you don’t know where to look.

Speaking of adding more resources, Troilite should also be more readily available in the late game region.

Hammerheads are no longer as attracted to Tadpole lights as before the update, which should result in them not following players back to base.

There are also multiple bug fixes, including a fix for a problem in which players could be teleported back to the Tadpole when exploring.

Fans with superior PC rigs should also notice a performance boost when using Epic visual settings.

Interestingly, there are also some changes to the Terms of Service, which is something that has caused complaints in the Steam review section.
