Minnesota House Democratic Leader Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark were fatally shot at their home in Brooklyn Park early Saturday. Gov. Tim Walz said the shooting “appears to be a politically motivated assassination.” A second Democratic lawmaker, state Sen. John Hoffman, and his wife Yvette, were also shot and wounded at their home in Champlin.
Coming up at 9 a.m. on Monday, Angela Davis and her guests talk about the latest developments in the search for the shooting suspect and the history of political violence in the U.S.
