If you love the cinema, or there’s a film you’ve been putting off seeing, then this weekend couldn’t be a better time for your next trip to the pictures. In celebration of National Cinema Weekend, some of the biggest names are offering customers tickets for as little as £4 all weekend.
Over 500 cinemas nationwide are participating in the celebration, with tickets for any showing, in any format, and any seat going for as little as £4.
It is recommended to book tickets in advance, as screenings are likely to sell out. However, you can turn up to your local participating cinema and buy tickets on the day.

With an incredible number of movies out, including Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The Odyssey, Toy Story 5, Minions & Monsters. Insidious: Out of the Further, it couldn’t be a better time to spend your weekend at the cinema.
Cineworld is offering its customers “a star-studded lineup of films” for just £4 a ticket, in selected formats. Those who want to enjoy an upgraded experience can get IMAX tickets for £6.
However, if you are an unlimited member, then you can watch all films in selected formats with no uplift.
For those who have an Odeon local to them, you can catch all films, all screens, all weekend – including their Premium Large Format screens, with IMAX, iSense, Dolby and XL.
Odeon has also slashed the prices on its popcorn.
Film lovers can purchase any-sized individual popcorn for just £5 with a valid ticket to a National Cinema Weekend screening. To make use of the offer, you must pre-order online or in the ODEON app when booking your tickets, and collect in-cinema on National Cinema Weekend.
